we need to get a huge group of people together to protest this bullshit law that syas that skiing to fast through the slow zone in utah is a class b missdimenor and you could face up to 6 months in jail.

Get everyone to stand in a line blocking the entire run and ski down ridiculously slowly. When everyone complains simply explain that you would very much like to ski faster but you simply can't because its illegal.

Or only ski at speeds above the limit. May limit your ability to hit certain rails and small jumps but fuck it just go bigger.

i think that the "limit" is only for certain slow zone, not the whole mountain...

Oh well whatever then who cares? You can already lose your pass for going too slow in those areas. But have you actually? I certainly haven't and I mob through the slow zones.

ever rode at copper? there may not be a formal law, but they're probably more strict there than at any Utah resort

I've ridden at copper a few times, but havent gotten pulled over by the ski patrol for speeding. I've had my pass clipped multiple times at Winter park though for speed, and ive always been really made because it will be on a catwalk where a bunch of n00bazzni99az is goin all sorts of slow

Get yelled at alot early season because they put the early season park on the main slow run. But this year that wont be a problem.

I think you have the wrong impression on the shirt. I'll post up a draft later this weekend. In no way would we want to, or suggest creating some brash stupid "F*CK THE LAW" t-shirt.....

Our idea was more along the lines of' "Whats next?"

Common sense should always win, no one needs to get hurt. We agree with the, if your going to fast in a slow zone you get your pass clipped.... It's always been like that and people were obviously not enforcing this and had to fall back on something that is far too overkill.

overkill? people need to stop being so damned stupid and realize that they made this, mainly, to help with legal BS that would result from a guest being injured on the mountain. it'll help out with who was at fault and will protect the mountain from any legal action as well. do you think ski patrol is really going to want to spend more time doing paper work over something stupid? if anything else, its a deterrent and will cause you to get more "stern" warnings to slow down. some people will get in trouble from this but you're not going to notice that shits different. go pick up a real cause or better yet, spend your time doing something that makes you happy.
