Why would any skier care about 90% of the shit that gets posted here in NSG? More than it being independence day there I think the fact that its the 200th anniversary is a pretty cool piece of trivia.

I mean its not like we're talking about french polynesia here. This is the country right to south of the USA, one of the US's biggest trading partners.

cinco de mayo isnt even really celebrated in mexico, it was just the day of a certain battle that was won in some small state in mexico somewhere. its primarily an american holiday thanks to companys like corona.

does it really affect your day that much? imagine if you were so poor that you had to immigrate to a country where you couldn't speak the language just so you could put a roof over your head and food on the table. try talking to some of them and realizing the horrible things theyve been through just for you to act like a stuck up asshole. sorry your cheeseburger took 30 extra seconds, fuck man. i work up in park city and its not that bad at all. try and take a bigger picture of things.

but seriously, i really respect mexicans a lot. my family is in the agriculture business, and we rely on migrant workers. to anyone who says shit about mexicans stealing jobs, i challenge them to come try one of their jobs out for a couple days.

Hey have you ever tried learning a second language? Its not that fucking easy.

I currently live and work in a spanish speaking county, although now I'm nearly fluent, i didn't speak a word of spanish when I got here. If it wasn't for the patience of everyone from bus drivers to MC Donald's workers to the police to my coworkers my time here would have been much more miserable.

I don't think in a year of being here has one single person gotten angry with me for speaking in broken spanish. For the most part they slow down their speech or toss out what ever english they know. They don't have too, they're just being nice; you should give it a try.

who cares if they're illegal? in my opinion if the situation is dire enough to move somewhere where you know absolutely no one and a few words of the language then youve hit a pretty fuckin low point in your life. show a little compassion it'd make the whole world a lot better. but its such a gigantic deal if some mexicans are mowing my lawn or picking my vegetables or working at mcdonalds because 'mericans could have that job. if you want a job you can get a job, i have two jobs right now that i got within the past six months, during "the recession". people who bitch and moan about how theres no work out there are honestly just lazy assholes.

shit in mexico is far more fucked up then 'merica. i work with a chick who was raped and her whole family killed by the drug trade down there. mexico is pretty much a third world country, i may be coming off as a little biased because most jobs ive worked over the course of my life ive actually worked along side these people and i'm not just some apathetic asshole judging from the side crying about my double cheeseburger taking a few seconds more. try being nice, itll make life a lot better i promise.
