No program is "the best." all depends on which one fits your workflow preference, and what your really trying to do with the program: remix, DJ Live, mashup, or produce.
walky and Jdubs got me into ableton using an APC40 (dedicated ableton controller) and ive never had so much fun fucking with beats.
matty fucks with ableton, a novation launchpad, and a mixer currently, and can rip many other setups as well.
All these programs are becoming mad comprehensive and share many features, so you really cant go wrong with anything, just do some research and play with trial versions to find what works for you.
I dig ableton cuz its so dam comprehensive, you can DJ live or produce and the program is setup so the transition between DJing and producing is almost seamless. Ableton is my preference. the creativity and innovation is limitless.
