My boots are flex 90 spks. I am very interested in picking up a pair of surface one lifes but i from what hear they are quite stiff. I like the sound of this but i wonder if ill have any issues driving a stiff ski with such soft boots?

Ideally the flex of your boot matches you (your weight, flexibility, what flexes you're used to), not your ski. However, if you can properly flex stiffer boots, they will transmit more energy/power to the ski allowing you to drive bigger/beefier skis and not get tossed around.
The trick is actually knowing when the ski is too stiff for you, not your boot. If the ski is beyond your control, then it won't matter what boot you have because you won't be able to handle the ski anyways.

I had some Nordica Park boots with a very very soft flex(80). The boot wasn't suited for my skiing. I'm a big mountain skier, and to make it worse, buckles and parts were falling off to make some serious flex issues.
I ski the One Life too. I didn't notice anything in the case of ski to boot flex issues, just overall boot stabilty, but that is cause of broken boots.
I threw my boots out since they were so fucked. Stiffer boots for me.
Also, I am 6'2", 170lbs.
I wouldn't worry, but if you feel like you might want better support in your overall aggressive big mountain skiing, get a stiffer boot.
