i got mine clipped for skiing 3 feet of fresh on a closed trail. 1 foot of fake snow pow 2 feet of FRESH SNOW. i like came all over the place only to get my happiness cockblokked by an asshole in red.

if you look in control you never get hassled, and in slow zones, just make a few extra turns to make patrol happy, better to take an extra min to get to the lodge then get your pass pulled.

the issue is that so many kids skiing these days do not actually know how to ski, they start and go right to the park without ever actually learning how to make a proper turn and how to control their gear. So its those kids that are causing these problems for us people who can actually ski. inb4 real skiing on real mountains joke

thats on the back of one of my seasons passes last year, you'll be hard pressed to find a pass that doesn't have something like that on it, I've never seen one.

Exactly. And with that warning, we should be able to do pretty much whatever we want. If you don't like it, leave. Skiing's about doing whatever I want on skis, so once I can't do that a lot of the fun is gone.

I also hate when the patrollers suck, you've been skiing for way longer than i have and you should be good. I know most of them are older (here in NJ they are at least) but just because some 18 year old kid is better than you doesn't mean he's reckless.

hahaha. I watched this video, which was shot at the mtn I grew up skiing at, (the whackest LA area local bullshit) and laughed OUTRAGEOUSLY loud through it all.

I can't believe I then scrolled down the posts to see people actually having a discussion like this is a thought provoking expose into a syndrome sweeping the nation. This is lame local news overdamitzation of an issue that is fucking miniscule on the grand scheme.

SEriously the little girl beeped out swear words?? Fucking pricelessss. I hope south park gets a hold of this.

Haha lol@ news stations trying to do stories on sports because they have nothing better to report.

This is gay. My friend gave me his phone and used the gps on it to see how fast i could get. Fucking 65 MPH /claim. In control the whole time, although some bumps in the run were kinda sketchy.

gay. how can people hit jumps at 19 mph? me and my friend got our tickets punched once (4 punches and the pass gets pulled) because we were going to fast in the terrain park and were hitting the jump lines "too fast" and there was a lot of people and little kids in the park so we should of gone slow. so we start arguing with the patrol about how were we supposed to make the landings and if your so worried about the people not hitting the features then tell them to get out. i ended up with 3 punches at the end of the day. cool story i know

That's bullshit i think it is for the people who don't really know how to ski, and just want to go fast. the kamikazes.

last year at the resort i instruct at a kid was going so fast that he  we straight off the edge of the snow, over a concrete walkway and smashed right into the chalet, knocking out multiple teeth and i believe him as well, then they tried to sue the resort which didn't happen, but the kid was a yellow sticker(bunny hill only) and somehow got onto the main chairlift and onto a blue, the kid didn't even know how to stop.

thats so gay, the swiss ski patrol is ratarded, people dont go fast just to feel the adrenaline. they go fast so they can get high air off of jumps and to be able to do tricks. Its pretty hard to 720 going 5 miles an hour. you need speed to do stuff, if you dont have any speed your actions are limited to doing nothing. 

resorts that give out speeding tickets are going to lose a ton of business to the advanced skiers and snowboarders, because theyll go to other resorts. the only way they wont lose business if they get rid of this dumbass 19 mph bullshit

skiing is suppose to be fun, it's not worth starting trouble. i regret saying the stuff i did and i learned my lesson then and there will be more lessons in the future. it's life. make the best out of every situation of what is in front of us, even if it isn't the greatest. im done talking about this. what was done is long gone. there is too much to look forward to within the next few months to dwell about last seasons mishaps. things are moving forward and life is glorious.
