now people like rap from the 206.

i like macklemore a lot. he grew up right by me. although i like the blue scholars and the whole "conscious movement," i think i like them more because they're from seattle and not because of their songs. i like some of them, but their whole sound is the same, in every song.

I'm still in decision mode. Anyone know what the blue scholars usually do live? I'm a big fan of their old stuff but I thought Oof! was awful for the most part. I think I might end up going regardless though, seems like a good show.

personally i listen to both and same as style+eeze said, the whole movement of blue scholars i like but some of macklemores songs are damn good. sounds sick though. overall: both really good groups.

ehh, they're pretty good. i agree with you. i like their old stuff a lot more than their new stuff, when they were still coming up in seattle.

i bet they will put on a fun show. if the blue scholars are there with macklemore, it should be entertaining. sorry for whoring this thread. haha

haha word, hope to see you there, but yea there old stuff is for sure better, and ive seen BS live they kill it, itll be interesting to see how macklemore will do, im sure he'll kill it, anyway i recommend you go

i agree with style+eeze, blue scholars were better when they were up and coming. that said, i saw them about a month ago and they were awesome. and i saw macklmore before he was huge. both are awesome shows
