i dont remember the movie well enough, but i thought i read something (by someone who took part in the movie?) that claimed they HAD aged a tiny bit. i dono im gonna rent it the day it comes out, definitely worth seeing again

it wasn't very long between when he left them and the ending. a few months or something.

and it's real since the kids are wearing different clothes than in his dreams. and the fact that he's not wearing a ring. something which he only has on in dreams
