Niseko or Hakuba

Ok, I need a serious answer here, but I have heard niseko is the place to go, the powder is meant to be amazing....but how does it compare to Hakuba.  Is it worth a job with less pay for the epic season it may bring. I have never done a season in Japan before and would like to have the best one possible, even if it means earning a little less money.

I have only skied Niseko but from what i have gathered Hakuba is a better cultural experience but if you are there for snow hakuba was a little disapointing and people wished they did all their days in Niseko.

Niseko has more snow and dryer powder, but less vertical and isn't as steep. And is full of Aussies.

Hakuba is bigger and steeper, but not as reliable for snow.

i was lucky enough to spend time in both last season, nis is pretty sick, better pow yeh for sure but the terrain in hakuba is sooo much better, and it still gets good pow, i reckon go hakuba, just dont duck ropes there, i almost got deported ha

'happo one' at hakuba is sick. not crowded and lots of variety-- but i haven't skied at niseko.
