Does k2 measure up like Line does?

Is a 179 really a 179 or is it longer?

You're talking about a 179 K2 right?  It usually measures up to a couple cm longer, so it's probably like 182 or 183.

i heard this years k2s are the actual measurement. so 179 should be 179.

I have 179 Revivals, and they measure up to about 183cm with a tape measure.....a year ago I put 179 henllbents against 185 line ep pros and they were exactly the same length sitting next to each other (give or take a bit because of differences in rocker)

I can confirm the opposite...I was at the shop on Saturday and the 169 Domains bigger than the 170 Ace of Spades, and I'm 5'8" and they measured up exactly to my height (which is about 172.5cm) - so they're about 3-4cm longer than they are labeled.

Thank you flashkick101, I'm 5'9 130 lbs so would they be perfect size for me? I ride mostly park especially rails since I live on the east coast. I currently have invaders in a 171, would this be too big of a change?

I can tell you that 179 Bents (10/11) are definitely shorter than they were last year. I'd say they now measure true to length, where a lot of other companies are still shorter than advertised.

nope i held the salomon suspects at 181 to the k2 domains at 179 next to each other and the domains were a good 3 cm longer

K2 has always ran roughly 4cm long... I dont assume they have or will ever change that as it is what people have gotten used to and expect it!

Yeah, I specifically ordered a smaller ski than I normally would knowing it would be longer than advertised.
