camp injury

i was wondering about this, is it common for ppl to get injured at summer camp? if anyone has on this site, what do u do the rest of the week if u get hurt. do u just like hang around the hotel and town the whole time or what?

that or you just limp your ass up to the mtn each day and chill and enjoy the fact that your on a mtn in the summer and dick around. also they might let you come back in a later session

Well, I have gone to summer camp in Whistler 4 years and so far I am 2 for 4. Three years ago I smashed my collarbone good in the halfpipe at the beginning of my second session and the rest of teh time I just chilled out and still had a time. Two years ago I smashed up my arm really bad half way through the sess, but it was still a dope time, I didn't go home, fuck that

in my sess last yr, aside form general bumps and bruises... a kid tried a double back on the water ramps, hucked it early, lost his helmet and smashed the back of his head on the ramp... sever concussion, went into relapse... they sent turpin to go watch him in the hospital... then he went out drinking the next night. i split my eyelid open... didnt need stiches though.

I went to SMS last summer and a guy named Mike who came all across Canada to ski broke his collarbone the first or second day when he dived to catch a frisbee... He stayed there and was fuckin pissed all week and he didn't get his money back..... HAHA LOSER... no lol its not funny...
