Hey NS, for one of my senior year business classes I am required to write a blog about a business of industry of my choice. Since it is my dream to get a job in the ski industry, I have started a blog about this topic. There are many ways to be involved in skiing as a career other than becoming a professional...these are the areas that I will be trying to focus on the most.
I will be blogging, 4 times a week, about skiing in general at times (probably more once the season starts), but I will really be trying to focus on the business aspect of skiing. What jobs are available, what jobs are in high demand, what types of majors do the companies look for, etc. I am hoping NS will help me get in contact with some people that I can interview later on, it should be interesting.
Since this is an assignment that is really meant for me, to increase my knowledge in a particilar industry, I thought that I could take it a step further and mold it to not only help myself but some of the New Schoolers community as well.
I have just created the blog today, so there is nothing on it yet, and I think it will take a little while for me to get it running well.
But I want to know what you want to know. Please post anything that you are interested in about the ski industry here and I promise that at one point I will research it and write a blog post about it.
