using pvc pipe and spacing it out about 6" from each other makes a pretty slick surface.

You can get everything u need at home depot (or menards). The astro turf is in the carpet sectioin of the store an you can get an 6 by 8 piece for 15 dollars (if u cut that in half it becomes 3 by 16 which is perfect for a drop in and ramp) At home depot find the pvc isle and get the 1 1/2 pipes ( each is like 2 bucks). Camp down the pipes on a board and drill holes up through the bottom and screw in screws. you need a screw about every 18 inches. Also, the drop in and ramp probably dont need to be as bigg as u originally thought. Hope this helps, if u have any more questions send me a message.

buy about 10,000 nails then scatter them in the general area of your drop in. then douse it in gasoline and sprinkle shredded steel wool on top. finally add as many thumbtacks as needed to reach your desired speed. works like a charm.
