Armada Halos Vs Volkl ledge

After a little help please

I want to buy a new set skis for 60% park 40% groomers im 11 stone (154 pounds), im still learning, id say im 60% rails and 40% kickers (small to medium)

I want some thing light, poppy easy to butter, & has a good swing weight, something playfull but will also ski well out side the park (not off pieste ive got a set of seths for that), im about 5ft 8 ish,

I like the halo more and think a rocker ski might be the way forward? but the ledge is £150 cheaper & gets a better review in the freeskier mag? I was thinking of putting salomon sth 14 bindings on them at true center,

Can any one help on which is best for me or think of some thing better?

Go with the Halo, it's a super fun park ski and will be fun outside the park too. The Ledge did get the best review on Freeskier...however its a very biased review (I can't remember the last time a ski other than Salomon or Volkl won park ski of the year). The Halo is pretty much everything you're looking for - light, poppy, easy to butter (because of the rocker), and kills it everywhere.

Sweet I will go with the halos then, I read some were Armada recommend to mount the bindings 2 back from centre would you know any thing about the best place to mount them?

you'll have ton of fun on both, but the halos are ahead of the game when comparing technology.

The halos are SUPER poppy, real light, low swing weight, buttery but hold an edge great cause of the camber, 50/50 sidewall
...and not to mention, look dope as hell, which is always a nice bonus even though a graphic should never play in to your decision

Can any one else help out??? Or tell me what I'm doing wrong loads of people get a shit load of input when they ask for a hand on picking a ski, don't seem to be having much luck, Thanks.

Yeah go with the halos. Armada is very reputable to making legit park skis. The halos are a ski made for jibs and medium sized jumps. They are soft in the tips and tails for butters but still stiff underfoot to provide stability when landing jumps. They have extremely low swing weight due to the ar50 sidewalls, which is a blend of cap construction and abs sidewalls. The cap construction makes the ski light and swing weight low, and the abs sidewalls provide durability underfoot and acts as a shock absorber when hitting rails and jumps. I'm not sure about the ledges but i have heard that they may be softer than the halos, but volkl is also known for their durable skis. For you definitely go with the halo the technology that we have these days is just amazing and these skis are the future. With armada or volkl you cant go wrong, but my choice for what type of skiing you do would be the halo.

Can any one else help out? Maybe recommend a better ski? Or any advice were to mount the bindings on the Halos, or even suggest a better binding

not really as playful as either of those skis, but if you are going to be spending a good amount of time on groomers, you should also consider AR7's. They are pretty stiff (again, i mentioned not as playful as ledges or halos) but they will be great on groomers and jumps, and can also destroy rails. Also, it should be nice to know that armada's product has been mostly proven bombproof by multiple rail skiiers. But between those two, halo will be the one that will fit your needs better.

id recommend the liberty lte, the bamboo makes the ski super light, has insane amounts of pop, has an extremely low swing weight. The ltes are really durable with heat treated edges (like the ones found on armadas park skis), stable underfoot but soft and buttery in the tips and tails. I highly recommend these skis
