What's your favorite style of editing, music etc.? I hate over editing, I love good cinematography, good lifestyles and soul shots. I love having a wide genre of music. Like I love hearing reggae, rap, chick songs, dubstep, and metal. 2004 - 2007 had the best music. Although level 1 movies still keep it rockin'.

Park shoots, urbans which havent been overused in ski or snowboard movies already, a few bc booters, and some gnarly lines/cliffs

Rap and dubstep remixes
just spend time editing the skiing to the music instead of editing the video then throwing music in there. When the song matches with the vibes in the video, it makes it a lot more fun to watch.

Since I'm from the midwest i don't ski much pow, or backcountry lines so it's hard to relate to what the pros are doing, so I dont tend to like pow and backcountry as much as i like seeing an extremely tech urban rail slayed, or a floaty sw 7 blunt on a 100ft step down. (pow and backcountry is still fun to watch though.)
What's your favorite style of editing, music etc.?
i dont really know editing so i dont have a preference, but i do enjoy rap a lot in ski movies but sometimes it gets old.

What is you favorite ski film company and why? Level 1. They got my favorite athletes who put a real emphasis on style and the filmers know how to connect different styles and types of skiing in segs to make a real well rounded movie.

What do you like to see in ski movies most (features, terrain etc)? Superparks, extremely creative urban, and big backcountry booters

What's your favorite style of editing, music etc.? The soundtrack really makes a seg for me, as far as editing goes. I like the music to reflect upon the riding. If its a high-intensity mega-park shoot, then a bit of dub or techno really fits well. If its a big urban seg, rap or hip-hip always works. If its a massive powder shoot, then rasta never fails. I don't limit those styles of skiing to those styles of music, but I find thats an easy way to make a banger seg.

What's your favorite style of editing, music etc.? Just about any type of music as long as it adds to the shot, if its just music just for the sake of having music, it ruins the shot for me. (i realise that doesnt really make sense but i dont know how else to describe it.)
I would also like to see a wider variety of music (rather than just rap, dubstep, reggae)

around 15, depends how amateur they are, in this current day and age, the line between pro and amateur is getting blurred imho... (== good thing!)

sick pow, a feeling of the skiing vibe, good skiing, short interviews or everyday life excerpts, tomfoolery, etc... (to illustrate, i love nimbus and voleurz, both have their own style and deliver !)

Variety is key... But I prefer large segments with huge kickers, deep powder/BC (like in contrast), some good urban and a bangin sound track. To much AK skiing gets boring, Its really all the same every year, I feel like I can see more creativity when they're throwing down rather than shredding a gnarly line. But a small segment is always nice.

Anything that flows, smooth slow motion hand drags... Big floating air, both follow cam and heli cam shots and glitchmob banger remixes are always good

What's your favorite style of editing, music etc.? I love when the video is matched to the song perfectly, for example whenever someone lands an air they land on a snare hit in the song, a great example of this is the gold project's mt.snow edit

What is you favorite ski film company and why? PBP because edias is the best ski movie i have seen, honestly have never seen any of level 1's stuff which i may very well like better.

What movies did you buy last year? edias, i have some others but i can't remember if they are from last year or the year before.

What movies do you plan on buying this year? ill probably buy whatever people are most stoked on, hopefully what has the best park/ urban because i have plenty of backcountry oriented movies already.

Do you like any of the "amateur" film companies? i would love to see amatuer movies but its hard to buy one of their videos when i don't have money for more than a few movies a year.

What's a reasonable price for an "amateur" ski film? 5-10 and 20-30, but it depends on the length of the movie.

What do you like to see in ski movies most (features, terrain etc)? tricks I've never seen done before, doesn't really matter where as long as its a good variety.

What's your favorite style of editing, music etc.? Rap, reggae, and electric/dub/house. i like hearing the pros talk a fair amount too it gives you the feeling you know them better than just watching the shots to music all the time.

Reasonable independent: $15

My favorite thing to see is really innovative places to ski, such as the "barrels" and the "wonderland" segments in Meatheads Wild Stallions. Slashing deep pow in the woods, favorite to watch

Not one particular genre of music but a good mix that captures the emotions of skiing, some really happy parts, gangsta mixes, calming and intuitive parts as well, blend it together and you have a good movie
