IPod 4 or iPod Classic?

I'm really having trouble to decide what to get the iPod Touch 4 or the iPod Classic. I want a device with more gbs then I have now and the Classic seen to work fine with 160gb. I have the 8gb iPod Touch 2g and that's not enough for me so what do you think I should get????

the ipod touch is like a small pocket computor while the classic will probs be able to hold all of your stuff.

iPod Touch 4 goes up to 64GB. That should be plenty unless you torrent everything you can find

i have a classic, its durable and holds all the music/videos/whatever i want. i would go with that, unless you cant live without all the extra stuff the touch has.

go for the classic. 64gb is way too small and its really shitty when you have to choose what to put and what not to put in because you dont have enough space

I'll probably go with the Classic and I can live without all the extra stuff. I'm still keeping my iPod Touch when I get the Classic.

both. classic to hold all your songs, and touch to hold selected playlists/songs.

Classic = Hard Drive, Touch = solid state flash. Hard drives have moving parts, which are fragile if bumped around a lot (my girlfriend had a classic and took AMAZING care of it, and it crashed on her - the guy in the store said it was because she kept it in her backpack so it was moving around a lot, not that it even got bumped into a lot). I'd go with the touch, not only should it be enough space, you can also do WAY more with it.

Get the classic guy. EVERYONE has a touch right now and they are getting very old. Plus they rip you off. Too expensive. You will not get enough gb with the touch if you want movies or tv shows along with your music. For me at least 8 gigs alone for music is not anywhere near to enough.

ok first off, there is no such thing as an ipod touch 4, there is the ipod touch currently on its 4th generation, but that is called an IPOD TOUCH, thats it thats all. Second, this is really simple, do you:

a. have more then 250 to spend
b. do you have less then 64 gigs of music'
3. do you NEED apps

if yes to all 3, get a touch, if no to any, get a classic

Its called a iPod Touch 4 because before that they had the 1g,then the 2g,then the 3g, and now the 4g.

you are retarded, where on the apple page do you see the name ipod touch 4? no where, because thats not the name of the product. it might be on its 4th gen, but its not called an ipod touch 4, just like the previous gens weren't called the ipod touch 1/2/3

There is not one place the ipod touch is called "ipod touch 4" ipods dont have numbers like the iphone.

i would fucking STILL have to select which playlists/artists/albums to put on it. but it would be way easier to decide because it would just be the realm of "shit i dont really listen to"
