Revolver blows EDIAS out of the water on most accounts.  Yeah there is a dearth of park skiing, but the rest of the skiing makes up for that in a big way.  I got tired of all the dubstep in the movie.  I like dubstep well enough, but 3-4 songs in a row?  Guess Glitch Mob cut them a good deal on recording privileges.

Sammy's opener blew my mind and Bene's section kept the stoke going. I liked the Edmonton urban section, it showed a lot of creativity, especially the gap to narrow awning to building tap by Henituk and Strenio.  That looked pretty gnarly. 

JP and Julien destroyed AK.  JP gapping his own slough?  awesome!  The headcams were fantastic as well.  Charley Ager is a madman dropping 5's off unnecessarily large cliffs and landing switch.  Thought Tim's section last year was better, but his closer in Revovler is still killer.

I think that this is the year when people who take the park to the backcountry take the backcountry to the big mountain.

By far the best PBP movie I have seen, all you little 14yearoldparkfags are just mad because you didn't see doubles thrown every direction and nobody 630ed onto an urban rail. Premier was sick, hats off to pbp for stepping outside the box this year.

This very true, Revolver I thought was much much better the EDIAS, everyone had way better seggments, and Sammy's part was ill, the filming and the angles are what really got me, much much better then EDIAS.

i fucking loved it.

JP and Sammy both killed it early with their segments.

i was a little disappointed in the middle by all the Edmonton urban, nothing too original there. they definitely could have done better with the talent they had. and why the fuck did they use "Coastin" again?

and i don't care what you say, Dumonts segment was fucking crazy to end it all out. that last trick? so crazy. and that's coming from one of the biggest dumont haters out there.




overall great movie. i highly suggest you go to a showing if you can. if not, pick up the movie. i know i will.

well I thought that the skiing was surreal. Best collaboriation of riders and boyyyyy did they kill it. I definitely thought EDIAS had a better soundtrack, but shit, I understand the struggle of finding cheap music. Compared to other PBP films I've seen in the past, revolver had wayyyyy more pow shots. The park filming was wild, but pretty limited in comparison to everything else. Personally I have to agree that EDIAS seemed to have more personal interest and over all was a better production; PBP set the bar pretty high for themselves. But i'm totally content and can't wait for next year. The premiere itself was really fun, I couldn't have asked for a better night. Made a lot of new friends, saw a lot of old ones. Hey ski community, you're awesome.

was it? I didn't think so...some of the athletes ride for salomon, but a good amount, (auclair, mayer, TJ, durtschi, leboe, etc) don't ride salomon's. The premiere itself hyped salomon a lot..but thats cause they helped PBP out a lot, I get that.
