I don't understand how everyone bitches about Obama. America is a great country, but there are some gaping holes that need to be filled. I.e health care. It's something everyone in a country so rich should be entitled to, not just those who can afford it.

He was left with a shit show to clean up- Sure he's not doing as well as some people think he should, but he's doing a good job with what he has.

And the other option was a million times worse.

all in all, america sucks. it sucks way less than other countries, but more than quite a few. government is corrupt in general, partisanship blows, and news coverage of politics is shitty and biased, for both parties.

America rules. I simply don't like Obama because he has no concept of the resource. He is completely out of touch with the intermountain west and its people. He pretty much gave Utah a big fuck you when he planned to deignate large portions of BLM land as national monument without even telling our representatives. So much for the republic.

you have to be joking to think i was talking about the LANDSCAPE of america in that post. of course america looks beautiful, its one of the only countries in the world (inb4 canadians) that goes from rocky coasts, to rolling hills, to huge flatlands, to deserts, to hugeass mountains, to volcanic islands, and beautiful beaches.

but the actual processes of US politics, we are pretty screwed up.

as for utah, the whole damn place should be a national monument. its a fucking amazing state, and what they do to the land is awful.

The majority of the posts here are just contributing to the mess which already is America.  Stop being so bi-partisan, I turn on fox news and dont even get news, just how terriable the dems are, i turn on msnbc and dont get any info except how terriable the right is.  People need to put their political platforms somewhat behind them.  Everyone who is knocking obama (i dont like him myself) dont you see that if mccain was elected we would be in almost the same exact situation, except more troops wouldn't be going into Afghanistan they would be going into iran. 
The only BIG difference between mccain and obama was what ticket there were running on.  Its just stupidity to think that if mccain (who I also dont like one bit) was elected instead of obama there would be a 'chicken in ever pot' and out country would be in much better shape.
People need to see that the only way for things to really change is for a third party candidate to be elected with not just varying ideas on the same subjects, but different ideas alltogether

Actually in the global financial world we are know as a country who's finances are primarly based on consumerism, not production by any means. 
Things are changing in china for the better and worse, we are actually bringing work back from china to america becasue of wage increases in china...Also then if their currency becomes stronger exports will fall, further weakening china, china and japan are going to face some serious shit soon man.

I was trying to make a point that obama is out of touch with the resource. Learn about the history of land management in Utah and state trusts and you will understand.

I simply posted that sweet picture to show people that America is awesome regardless of how you feel about the government.
