meh my friend got busted with over 14g's of weed (and 17 too, and Qc too, small world), lotta shrooms and pills at school and didnt get too much shit. just a bit of community service and a criminal record. hes now the biggest fuck-up i know tho...

So many people roll with hoodies and whatnot; why? If you wear jeans and a normal non-graphic tee, no cop is going to give you shit. Stop drawing attention to yourself

Yes, since he's a minor, he won't go to jail. He's not in A LOT of troublebut yeah that's a sketchy situatuion. He'll probably get the same sentence.

i have no clue about canadian laws but that isn't really enough to try and pinch him for dealing and possession isn't usually that bad. Round the states the average penalty would probably be a fine or a fine and some community service. I just looked it up and all I found out is that they are usually pretty lenient. Not sure if your reform bill ever passed or not but if it did then I don't think he would even get a criminal record and would just pay a fine.

If canada is the same as US, he won't get any jail time. A half oz isn't really that serious. If the cop wrote it up as a crime then he's fucked because the fine is huge, like a grand maybe. If the cop wrote as a violation then he'll only get like a $500 ticket. Either way he'll lose his license for a while. I got busted through at school luckily so the judge just forgot about the fine and gave me my license back as soon as I graduated ( I got busted about a month before I was scheduled to graduate)

i highly doubt the laws are the same as in Australia but here if you get busted with anything under that 50g then they have to give you 3 warnings before they can fine you.

If hes under 18 then all he should have is a rather large about of community service. This kid at my school got caught with i think 10 grams and all he had was a court date the sentenced like 30 hours of community service

Hahaha I didnt get busted last night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really should have tho. got a free ride from the cops. he turns around and is like. "So you guys are feeling pretty good tonight?" i was like ughhh yea i guess?

^by nothing i mean i don't know if he'll have to worry about his criminal record. he'll probably spend the weekend in a jail or something, but from what i heard, someone i know got "locked" away for a weekend for making hash or selling, and he was just watching tv all weekend. he lives in two mountains.

Probably next to nothing. You're in Canada so unless he had a scale too then he will be charged with possession and put on probation. I bet he wont even see jail time.

If its not over a oz they dont normally care that much. Im from Ottawa, and a buddy of mine got caught with 20g's and a scale. Even though he had a scale since it wasnt over an oz they didnt charge him with intent to sell, he got off with like a 200$fine and got his scale back lol.
