found out im going to squaw in january for a week super stoked but anyways idk what the el nino la nina thing is anyone know what they predict for tahoe this winter? above or below average snowf all?
It's always fun to guess what the winter will bring, or hear about a 10 foot storm, but what falls is the only thing that matters, and that you can't predict
I do believe the question would be: What does Tahoe typically receive as far as snow during a la nina year. I would like to know as well. We in the PNW get more snow during a la nina year. I know tahoe gets slammed in El nino years, but don't know about la nina.
There will be snow in Tahoe this winter. But there will not be nearly as much as in the past few years. This winter is going to be a La Nina and a -PDO. Generally that means PACIFIC NORTHWEST WIN, CALIFORNIA LOSS. And that will most likely be true this winter.
