The camera itself is in Excellent quality. Still shoots footage like it was new. The only defect is in the small viewfinder there is some dirt. Nothing that affects the actual footage though. It comes with a lens hood, and fisheye. The 300x zoom makes its very versatile. I bought this camera to make amateur sports videos and it has served me very well. Here is a video I filmed on it a few years back.
http://vimeo.com/4143129 as you can see it shoots very good standard def video. It has a MASSIVE 3.5 inch LCD screen and a small view finder. Takes good snap shots that it can save onto a SD card. Has Video, XGA/VGA, and UXGA settings plus tons of fun features.
The only reason why I don't want to keep this camera is because I need money and don't have time to film with it anymore.
