EP Pro or Sir Francis Bacon

Hey everyone,
So I'm taking a gap year before college, and I was fortunate enough to get a job working at hotel right in Alta, UT. Anyways, I was wondering whether I should get the EP Pro's or the Sir Francis Bacons. I was leaning towards the SFB's because they're a bit more versatile, but then again I have a pair of old line Blends which are fine except for really deep snow. Should I just get EP Pro's for the deep days or get the SFB's for anything??? Thanks

DUDE! I'm taking a gap year too and I'm working at the ski n see on 9400s and 700e and I'm going to ski Alta everyday I can! I have a pair of EP's and I love them. Personally, if your blends are in ok condition, I'd just get EP's but if you really want a one ski quiver, get Bacons. I'm thinking of getting Bacon's to compliment my current set up but it's still up in the air. Might want EP's for super epic dumps that we get. Are you from Utah or are you moving here? PM me with details, we should shred!

look into the liberty helix, they dont have rocker but they charge pretty well they are 105 underfoot so they handle the pow and hard pack, and can even handle park

i love the sfb but if you already have blends it seems like too much overlap. id either go with the ep pro. or look into the moment night train. i havent ridden it but ive heard its a great jibby pow ski

I could use some help as well 6'4 200 lbs aggressive skier. Have park skis and seth vic for all mountain. Need a pow jib specific for those deep days. Wht. Any suggestions. Skiing squaw and alpine this wonter

Dude go EPs. When you actually get conditions that warrant them, they will change your life. and even in every day conditions, small dumps, park, etc, they are super fun. I have a pair and can't say enough about them. Buy them you won't regret it

Im a taller bigger person. 6'4 200lbs mad ppl said stay away from eps if ur a bigger person. Im thinkin 189 hellbents. Cuz their cheap last yeara model

Was lookin at chopsticks. Never skied a volkl b4. Any thoughts on 180 hellbents. Neone think their a good choice for my height andcweight. I can get em cheap

^go for it, the bents aren't gonna disappoint in that department, I would personally advise u to go with a little more versatile ski as generally halfway through a blue bird day in tahoe our snow starts to settle out and get fairly heavy, not to mention how chopped out it can get, a super soft jibby ppow ski might have some pretty hard deflection for a guy ur size. I might take a look at the prophet 115 or 195 super s7

U mite b rite. Though i do have a pair of seth vic 05's. U think i should go stiffer?. S7's are so expensive. I can get bents for 450. Ideally ide get the bent chetler but they will put me back 700 for skiis alone. Nows the option of do i spend for better versatility or do i rage the seths later im the day and save the bents for. The real fluffy days

^the bents would be a ton of fun, and if u have the seths already u would probably be able to get away with getting a ski like the bents, I would generally caution u to get something with a little more backbone tho. Look on-line here and on tgr bst's, for something like the line mothership, prophet 115, 190 salomon czar, blizzard answer 191, and if u don't ever plan on skiing switch the salomon rocker. U could also just get the bents and on somedays bring two pairs of skis to the mountain until u figure out if u like skiiing the bent in chop

Yea ur rite and thanks for ur help on this. I bought a pair of bents last year mounted thm and never used them cuz i failed. On my attempt at mving last year this year imnow ten g's richer and got acepted into sierra nevadas ski biz and resort managment program. Alpng with a room for free to live in . But the bents were so cool lookin and seemed just big enough. My seths are a dream and i love them to death. With the conditik. Their in ill have them for a while too. Prob the best ski i ever skied on for a all mountain use. Granted that 5 years ago they were a big mountain ski. They kill it in every way and any circumstance
