Replying to Wax on snowflex?

hitting up the liberty snowflex center this weekend and I'm probably going to put a couple fresh coats of wax on my skis to recondition the bases(normally I do this right when the season ends but I haven't been able to get around to it yet). My intentions are not to speed up my skis, only to protect my bases. Does anyone with EXPERIENCE know how wax responds on dry slope? As long as it doesn't stick I'm happy. I assume it won't but I just want to make sure before I drive 4 hours.
