Wax on snowflex?

hitting up the liberty snowflex center this weekend and I'm probably going to put a couple fresh coats of wax on my skis to recondition the bases(normally I do this right when the season ends but I haven't been able to get around to it yet). My intentions are not to speed up my skis, only to protect my bases. Does anyone with EXPERIENCE know how wax responds on dry slope? As long as it doesn't stick I'm happy. I assume it won't but I just want to make sure before I drive 4 hours.

i forget what youre supposed to use. wax wont work, itll just scrape off. at copper we used some kind of oil? like wd40 or something.
oh... silicone. use that. its like liquid wax

the hardest coldest wax does wonders. used it all summer at the ramps and you will fly dont even bother scraping though.

My local slope is 100% snowflex. Firstly use your standard universal wax - this protects your bases from cracking. Then you require a Silicon based liquid wax - at my slope it is provided via a roller on the ground at the top of the lift. Liberty however may have a water sprinkler system, in which case the silicon won't work and is not needed. Just use universal wax and don't scrape!

If you are just trying to protect your skis any wax will do, silicone spray will work well for speed aswell but does dry ur base out quite abit, ive found hard Beeswax to be the best for speed and protection, especially if you want it to last more than 2 runs!
worked on a snowflex dryslope in the UK for 5 years so have tried it all!

We hit Liberty Snowflex for a week this summer. There's a misting system so theres no worries for speed or wear. We started with a mid range hot wax and brought a full wax kit and paste but didn't need to rewax (even in 90 temps). Have a great time...the place is awesome!!

The cheapest washing up liquid (so its runny) works a treat. I used to race dryslope in Scotland for years. Really helps. Leave the bottle at the top and use it on each run, if your riding with mates just lift each others skis and squirt a line down each one. It'll get the plastic running faster too as it rubs off on the same lines each time.
