I mean technically all you have to do to overcome ignorance is use your fucking brain. That in theory sounds a lot easier than overcoming a drug addiction. Should we hate on these people more? So in reality you think you know what you know, but you don't know, if you plant a seed in the ground it might grow. But will it? You can't know that, to many factors depend on the life of that seed. Will the rain be too much or not enough, will the sun be a gift? Or with it just scorch the ground. If you drive a car, you might not make it alive. Plenty of standard things like 2012, nuclear war, and hitting a whale crossing the street could kill you. You're ignorant to those possibilities because you don't think about it. If you did think about them people would think you were crazy though. If people think that you are crazy you might get put in a hospital with other crazy people. Then you're trapped. Now you're in a bubble of ignorance as well as stuck in a cell. they force the meds on you to keep you quite, and you sleep, and sleep and sleep. Near comatose situation. But really your whole life you've just been sleeping. You aren't awake, you think you are living but you aren't living. You aren't dead, but you're not fully alive. What state does that put you in? It's a strange place to be, undiscovered like the bottom of the ocean. Can you ever break out from there? Is is possible. These are all standard questions. But with the books you read and the things they teach you in school, you might not be able to. You need to go through the wormhole if you can. But where does that wormhole lead. Does it lead you to truth? Maybe just another universe equally as disturbing. If you let this world would you even know you left if you were ignorant? Would you ever be able to go back through the other way? At this point you need to run like an antelope out of their as fast as you can. The weight will be pouring down on you. You're stuck, you're in a bind of the mind. You send your sos to thw world but nobody seems to hear you. It's like your ship is sinking but there just aren't enough life boats to save you. But sooner or later we're all going to die anyway. Does it matter if you die here or 50 years from now.
