K2, salomon help

Insane

So I have been checking out this years line of k2 skis (domain, revival..both sick) but I have never owned a pair of k2's. I have however owned a pair of salomons foils which I loved. I am just having trouble on deciding whether to pull the trigger on some revivals or domains, or if I should try some 2012's. I am 6' 160, and I would mainly use these skis in park and on groomers (I have powder skis). Thanks for the help.

those k2 park skis are supposed to be killer this. Anybody on this site who has used them says they are. I have disorderlys and they're in great condition after 3 seasons. The bases have some marks, but I grind weird shit so thats expected.

suspects on the other hand, not too hot. the 2012 and pipe pro might be though, i'm not sure. salomon skis changed a lot since foils.

but you'd probably be happy with the k2's.

I can't speak for Salomon because I havent ridden any of there skis lately, but the two K2 skis you mentioned are very different in their turn radius cuts. But they both look like they will kill it.

Got to ski the domain, suspect and 2012 at a demo last year in very soft snow. I didn't care for the zero camber on the domain. The 2012 was a lot of fun and playful, but chattered a little at higher speeds. The suspect was more stable, but felt heavier.

I demoed the 2012 and felt "meh", they weren't terrible, but they also weren't great either. On the other hand, I demoed the Domain, fell in love, and I was determined to find a way to get a pair of my own. Go with the Domain, not only are they awesome, but K2 is known for having extremely well built and durable skis...unlike Salomon the past few years (although that might have changed this year, now that they've changed the skis are being built in Austria instead of China...but I'm not willing to risk it just yet).

so how do the domains measure up this year are they like the usual k2 measuring with an extra 3cm cause im definitely keepin my eyes on them but since im 6'3"

I'm 5'8" and the 169s come up to exactly the top of my head (so about 172cm, actually a little bit closer to 173cm), so the 179s should measure up to about 182cm to 183cm - so you should be fine.
