Should I use the lifter kit when mounting my pivots onto my CRJs so there's zero ramp angle? If I don't, the toe piece will sit 5mm lower than the heel. What would be the pros and cons of using them and not using them?
i dont see a reason to mount a non carving ski directly off the ski, mounting them flat gives a better feel for the ski, while having a lift makes carving a bit easier and more fluid. I wouldnt personally do it
What I mean by a lifter kit is that the toe piece sits 5mm lower than the heel piece. There's basically 2 riser pads for the toe piece so that there is no height difference between the heel and toe and your boot sits flat. Without the riser pads, it would put you in a bit of a forward lean.
