Chronic sizing question +k

im buying the 20ll chronic crypts next week and i was wondering what sizing i should get. Im 5'11", 140 lbs and i ski pretty hard, i ride 75/25 favoring park but im not sure what size i should get 163 or 173?? i want to get good use out of the skis for a couple years but i dont want to get them too big.

i would go to 178. if you think you are still growing (are you? i feel like you hinted at that but i'm not sure) and you are planning on using them for a few years then definitely go up to 178. its all preference for you.

I'm 5'9", 130 and I have no problem handling Chronic 171s, so you should be fine on the 173s.  I would also recommend considering the 178s.  Go with whatever feels best for you.

id recommend 178s but im geussing you cant find them in 178

yeah man go with the 173s and if you can dont hesitate to go bigger. it will provide you with that much more stability. best of luck!

I rode 163s all of last season, and defineately regreted not getting the 173s. I would recommend the 173s, or even the 178s. Great skis though.

I'm 5' 10", 126lb and I'm getting them in 178 when I get the cash together.

I'd personally recommend getting them in 178 as well. But if you've rode smaller in the past and feel comfortable then get them in 173

definitely get the 173s. I rode a 161 ski last year and i'm 5'10 and it was way to small for me. Kind of a bummer because I need to drop money on new skis, just because the 161s are to small.

Def go 178, it may take a little adjustment, but after ur first couple of days u won't be able to imagine going shorter

yes sir I was a dumb ass. But I bought them off backcountry during the summer sale and ended up growing three inches before the season started. won't make that mistake again.

That still dosent make sense that means you were 5,7 you should have atleast been skiing on a 171.

I just picked up some cryps and I was wondering where I should mount them? Do some park probably 30% park 70% all mountain. Thanks for all the help guys!
