Laptop speakers

right now i have an older pair of these http://http://www.jbl.com/EN-US/Products/Pages/ProductDetails.aspx?PID=CREATURE3BLK&accT=1&tsT=0&ovT=1, and they are breaking down on me.
so i'm looking for something with a little more kick to it. also keep in mind that i have a pretty small budget. any suggestions?

hell yes. i have a pair in the bathroom for ipod shower time, and a set at work for ipod work time. then the bigger set at home. 5.1 w/ the sub.

hmm i must have just gotten a dud set than.

i ordered a pair of these

and they literally didnt work, i had to send em back. sub worked, but speakers blew... they had no sound coming out haha
