Recommend me a skate shoe. i've gone through a pair of etinies, lakia's, and elements all this summer and am wanting something a little more durable.
i wear a 11.5 or 12, so if you would post up some links of suggestions in that size i would appreciate it.
oh and i don't want to spend more than $70. :-)

nike 6.0. love them so much. i have 3 pairs of the same shoe just different colors and sizes. right now i wear an 11 and theyre my favorite skate shoe after trying osirus, dc, adio, etnies, and pretty much all the major skate companies

have you tried carrol mids from lakai. i know you said you dont like lakai that much but i love them and they always last for me

that's actually what i'm skating right now.
and i loved them at first, but they have gotten wrecked. both of the heels are completely broken down and the outside of my front foot has a hole worn through it from doing ollies and flip tricks.

i also skate jordans. find a cheap pair(if possible) and rep them. i heard nike sb's are very durable also

normally vans aren't the most durable, but i gotta say my TNT 2 mids have held up like a champ. and vans have wicked board feel

your not going to find a shoe that lasts a long time. you will buy more skate shoes than anything if you skateboard alot. lakais are great but they wont last. nike and addidas are great.

vans= awsome well priced dont last that long, mostly for vert,
6.0= spendy but last a long time and comfy for street

If you're going to be skating in them do not get 6.0's, get SB's. I prefer the Janoski's but you said you were looking for a mid so I'll say go with the Bruin's. If you want a thinner sole get the vulcanized version. If you're looking for a thicker sole get the CS (Cupsole) version. Or even go with some Dunk High's.

as previously said, if you're skating a lot then every shoe you buy will rip eventually. don't get 6.0's, they're not built for skating, definitely get sb's if you're going with nike. dunk highs, or the bruins. half cabs are amazing and are what I usually skate in.

on my second pair of DCs and they've held up well, also alot of my friends use SBs and Etnies and seem to like them

fuck nike? circa has consistently made the shittiest skate shoes for the past 5 years, that's what little kids at the mall and their dads wear. nike has been in the skate game for only a few years and they had the disadvantage of everybody hating them cause they're not "core", and already they're more legitimate than circa. seriously if anyone buys circa shoes i'm sorry for ya

vans chukka lows are the exact opposite of durable. after one week of skating erryday they were completely gone to shit. good shoes while they lasted though

I would steer clear of nike's. they tend to not last too long in my experience...

I cant imagine another shoe being worse than my Nikes for skating. Dont get me wrong though, I love Nike, just hate skating in them. I though I made that pretty clear in my post.
