Begginer Die-Cutter. Need Advice.

Ok so I would buy a cutter from uscutters (http://www.uscutter.com/USCutter-MH-series-Vinyl-Cutter-_p_25.html). I'm split in between buying the 12" for $230 or the 25" wide for $300. I'm starting up a ski crew and need to make decals. Also I would like to try to sell some and make some for my local shop. I figure my design can go length wise so it could be up to 12" tall. I dont think I will ever need a decal over 12" tall but I do not want to regret it years later. Is it worth the extra $70?
Also what else will I need. I'm just a begginer and I dont even understand fully how it works. From what I understand I just make a design on Signblazer Elements (come free with purchase) and connect it to cutter. Am I incorrect? Will Signblazer be easy to learn and work well for a begginer? Also do I need weeding tools or can I just use tweezers? Also I am clearly a newb for not knowing this but does that paper that goes on top of the vinyl come with the purchase of vinal? Or how does it go on?

Can you not do it in Illustrator then import it in as an .eps or something. I have a homie with a plotter an he uses like Illustrator 4 files.

I have corel I just don't know how to import the corel draw vectors into sign blazer elements

Seems like there should just be an Import option in Signblazer. Export from corel as a .eps.... like I said Im just guessing here.

Roland Sticka Series, get one of the smaller ones, ive had it for a while and it cuts amazingly for the price you pay for it
theyre pretty cheap

we had a cutter and we used artcut which works with most cutters, illustrator has a plugin available for download which exports to art cut and then you can just cut from that

the transfer tape can be bought from places all over and online

seems like a waste of money.

just have someone on ns make you stickers that way they wont be noob stickers and use the rest to buy a super fat sac of  budz. a much better investment

well i work and ride for them and i know the owner and manager well. plus i know they will need decals for a rail jam they're hosting

but on a more helpful note:

I would look at the rolls of vinyl you are going to be buying. for the little extra cash I would go with the bigger cutter because it will take almost any size roll. If you have a 12" cutter but 15" vinyl that would just get annoying having to trim the roll down and you will waste so much. You will also be able to cut bigger designs if you want to make t-shirts or signs or car decals or just a huge ass sticker

Get a weeding tool, dont cheap out with tweezers or toothpicks or some shit

and use illustrator if possible.

other than that, youll need the application tape and vinyl, oh and a squeegee, and you should be set.

Sorry to keep bumping this, but I was wondering what software I would need to start cutting. I basically want to be able to convert images such as Jpegs to a format so they can be cut by the original cutter posted.

dont buy your vinyl bigger then your machine can take, trimming is a bitch. the application tape (pre mask its called) doesnt come with the purchase of vinyl. sometimes they will have sales and throw in a couple of yeards of the stuff, but dont count on it. dont cheap out on weeding tools like tweezers. get a proper weeding knife. they are usually $10 at most shops or you can go to home depot and get one aswell.

I almost mistook you for stickerboy. Also, can you cut from photoshop? I'd really enjoy just cutting PNGs or something else you can export straight from PS

it depends on your program your using. but you can convert them to an EPS if im not mistaken. what i do is convert them to a PDf and then cut them from there
