2010 Salomon SPK Pro Model Concern

I just bought myself a pair of 2010 Salomon SPK Pro Models and when I try to buckle the top buckle, it will not reach far over enough to even reach the first groove! Idk why this is but I can't even buckle it so can anyone help me out?? Thanks

on the buckle, you can most likely twist the handle

righty tighty, lefty loosey

right makes the buckle go in, left makes the buckle longer

you should be able to unscrew the piece with the grooves in and move it to a pre-drilled set of holes closer to the buckle to make it easier

i had to do it on several pairs of my boots because i don't have chicken legs

Sometimes the tounge can catch on the shell of the boot, making it hard to buckle up. Maybe your problem?

do you have really big calfs? i do mine up on teh bottom all the ay and third from all the way on the top.
