Has anyone skied the new Moment Bibbys?

Im looking for some new pow skis. Its between the JJs, Sr7 and the Bibbys. Any advice?

bibbys will be the most jibby, and s7s will be the most directional, if you want a mid ground, JJs or billy goats would be the 2 to check out

if you are skiing pow forward i would say s7. but i love my bibbys

im my experience on the east coast, i have bibbys mounted 1cm back (which i regret) however they still are totly fine on groomers (ice here really) and eat crud and pow obviously. i dont know too much about the rossis, but im guessing they would be a good bet too. also i have only skiied the bibbys 6 day and only 2 of the days involved par, but i had no problem skiing switch. theyre no AR6 though

perfect ammount of rocker, stilll stiff in the tips and tails so you don't wash out / wheel.

I read in powder that the new Bibbys have all been constructed like the old 190 meaning theyre stiffer than before and more chargey so they might be less jibby now
which is too bad because my bibbys are fun as shit but hopefully im wrong

i think they made them a tiny bit stiffer this year, but the 174/185(?) are still gonna be a jib oriented pow ski when compared to the 190s/s7/JJ

All Bibby's are constructed like the 190's last year, so less jib, more for charging lines and good cliff jumps! JJ is really a bit to short for a lot of people.. The 174 and 184 are not more jibby, they are just for smaller people :) But offcourse you could choose for a smaller length to be able to do more jib stuff, but why not choose the night train then? S7 is really more directional and again 5cm bigger but has a stupid big tip if you asm me..
You can mount Bibby's to what you like most, really charging more old school mount to get a directional ski or more centered so you have long tails for drops, they can turn really quick in trees and become very pivoty..

definitely less jibby than they used to be. i have the first years which were only a bit stiffer than hellbents. this past years were a bit stiffer all around, with the 190 being significantly stiffer. and i guess this years are all built like the 190. id say the ideal mix of jib and charging ski

Just to echo what's already been said, next year's Bibby (174/184/190)have a flex most similar to last year's 190 but the addition of carbon will give the ski much more pop and life. I've been on my pair almost exclusively for the last 2 years and couldn't be happier. Sure they are stiff for when you want to charge, but I also felt they were playful enough for me in deeper snow. I imagine next year's will be a little more playful. Just like any ski out there, if you want a more jibby feel, you could also mount a bit forward.

Having ridden both the 9/10 and the 10/11 Bibbys I can tell you that the 186 is definitely still a backcountry jib oriented ski compared to the 190 which is more of a charger, I didn't think the flex changed a whole lot; maybe a tiny bit stiffer. In my opinion there is quite the flex difference between the two especially in the tail of the ski.
