Hello,
Jon I remember that first published picture of your Backflip to F-D, all streaked out in a motion blurred night shot (RIP Freeze). That was an amazing glimpse of where skiing was going to go, and I am a huge Rossi fan so I given you a lot of brevity in trying to appreciate you niche. Truth be told I didn't even watch your edit, because, well I am pretty sure I won't be interested. What I'd like to know is "why now?" why join NS two days ago and post every pic, video, thread and profile tidbit you can think of? Presumably, publicity, any publicity is good publicity I guess. Do you think skiing should progress in your direction? do you feel under-appreciated by the next generation? I guess it's probably just the exposure you are looking for.
Skiing is a lot of different things to different people, so I can appreciate that clearly we have different tastes. But I can see you are still pretty young, and although talk about having a broken back as a life changing experience, have yet to really see what life and death mean. I see somebody playing with fire, and it makes me fear for your Mother and all those other people in your life that love you. Don't get caught up in your own ego, because there is something else out there that is just dying to slap that s#!t down. My advice to you, and you solicited it by posting a thread, is go out and live your life for you and don't worry about the image you present to other people. I think it appears fake and disingenuous.
When you die, nobody's going to remember all of your exploits or feats, they're going to talk about how your treated the people around you. And I can say that generating publicity and hate on NS just so you can rebut with Mom jokes is not going to win you a flattering eulogy.
Be Well
