If First Drop made skis.....

- what kind of skis would you want them to be- park? pow?
- what length would you prefer- 175ish? 185ish?
- what would you call them?
- what would the graphic look like?

First Drop doesn't sound like a company I would buy skis from... but fits for outerwear. And the company itself has a lot of lovers and a lot of people who don't like it as well. So making skis would be a complete hit or miss. You would have to come up with a different name for the skis though if you chose that route...

huummmmmmm..........

well im thinking that park skiis would fit the clothing line really good, but why not make both park and pow? And all sizes? I mean that would be best. I love your outerwear though and I would forsure invest in a pair of skiis if you made them and they were park skiis. As for what to call them? IDK? 1st Drop would be a sick name honestly! Like first drop on the mountian.

FAT pow skis, rockered (obvi) maybe 135 under foot, supper noodlely
with some nice simple graphics that are not too flashy but are still great.

dont even bother making powder skis. start out with a good durability run of the mill park ski, put a really nice graphic on it, and for the first year or two set up a below average priced pre-order. if they look nice and cost a bit less than competitors people will definitly buy them, and honestly, there is not that much you can fuck up on a park only ski. there are so many companies making almost the same park ski, and for similar prices. if you can make a solid knock of with a dope ghaphic for cheap that shit will sell. dont even bother with a powder ski, it does not fit with your company image, your target market, and there is no way that you can make a powder ski worth buying without doing some seriouse reseach, prototype production, testing, a few years time and a lot of knowledge.

If FD "made skis". It would just be FD sending a topsheet and base graphic to some generic Chinese manufacturer. All it would be would be a money grab aimed at the mouth breather's who mark out for an unoriginal outerwear brand.

Long story short. I'm sure FD would sell a lot of shitty ski's to a lot of dumb kids.

This. no wait, I'ma have to add on... FIRST they'd be all "skis don't need over 100 mm under foot for powder, anything wider is redundant", then the next year they'd be all "we now have a 130mm under foot ski"



(like they did with the jackets waterproofing LOL)
