Not sure if this is the right forum for this-but someone needs to make a Ping account on the new iTunes 10 for ski music, maybe some from ski movies and edits or just some sick music in general that's liked by skiers. Either one would be so sick. I would do it but i'm just good at most tech stuff.
Sounds like a cool idea. I made an account for myself when I installed iTunes 10. I'm struggling to figure out Ping because I can't find a single artist I like on it. I even searched for bigger bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers and they didn't come up.
ah this sounds like it sucks haha. I haven't actually checked it out yet but I'm done with work so I'm about to.
Also a company (I had freeskier in mind) could do this since they already have a podcast. Not that it's related haha but they seem like people that would have lots of music from ski movies.
Yeah I liked it when it was simple, just the music and the ability to manage your ipod and make playlists. I guess genius is cool someitmes, but the new display format with the small album art on the side is weird. I turned that off and all of the stupid info columns. I just have the title, album artist, time and size. Sometimes date added.
Is ping like something you could share music over?
I keep hearing people say this (I've heard it for a while now since like version 7), but I don't see this. Sure iTunes has some extra stuff (iTunes store, genius, and now Ping) but I don't see a whole ton of bloat. And unless you're computer is from 1999 I doubt you really have a problem running iTunes with other programs.
