and i've seen him make some douchy posts in the forums to back up what other people said. Not that posts on a forum really shows how a person is like in real life, but it kind of does considering it is what they did.

Right? Not even solid rodeos. Flat 3's and 5's. A couple sevens.... and?? Cool he's only 13, but come on, there is SO much better and deserving talent in the game. Flowin him some gear is chill, but let the kid grow up a bit. He just looks like every other clone that young NSers seem to have become. (no hate guize, srsly) I love Surface and Causwell, I've ridden Surface since the Cushions and don't plan on changing that. It just doesn't seem to fit into the Surface/Causwell/Joystick line-up. Blake, Ian, Hayden, Jeff, Anthony, Pablo, Banks are all fucking rad skiers with super unique styles, and this kid just doesn't put that vibe out at all...

you know, now that i think about it, this guy is right.

if i were hauser, i'd say "no thank you" to the offer to be on causwell/surface and do some more growing up.  maybe move away from that both ways shit and train my dubs or something.

All the people you listed are well matured skiers with developed style. He's 13, give him a break. Do you know any skiers past or present that had unique and matured style at 13? I would go as far to say that no 13 year old has mature style, how can you. A 13 year old isn't even remotely grown into their own body. Hauser will probably grow another foot and a half by the time hes 18. And how are you saying that a flat 5, and rodeo 5 is different, there more or less the same fucking thing, who gives a shit.

Hauser is really hard on his own skiing, and is probably his own biggest critic. When your 13 and your frustrated with your skiing, sometimes its hard to control your emotions and make sure your not coming off differently then you are. It's my guess that some of you that are claiming that hes a douchey kid is because you've caught him at times when he hasn't been that stoked on his stuff. It happens to almost every adolescent. Calling a 13 year old kid douchey, and cocky is simply ignorant.

Anyway. I'm blown away that he learned most all of those tricks in one winter, he ski raced the year before.

the fact that a person above thinks hauser should hav said no to the offer is fucking stupid. do u really think he would turn down such a great oppertunity? This kid is real dope, he got a smooth, well rounded bag of tricks and is certainly going places. no nneed to be a jealous hater that u didnt get that oppertunity wen u were a grom.

When Jeff Kiesel came to us this summer at Windell's and suggested Hauser as a new rider for Causwell we took his word for it and couldn't be more stoked. Not a lot of 13 year olds shred like him. He will make a super good addition to Scott Damon and Alex Gorham to round out the 16 and under crew at Surface, Causwell and Joystick.

Im really not trying to hate on him at all. The kid sends it for sure, and with a few more years under his belt he'll have a sick bag of tricks to boot. I just don't really get why Causwell sponsored him based on their choice of riders thus far. I think there are others who have been in the game and "paid their dues" that are more deserving. Props though man, good for you.

honestly the kid likes to do flat 3s and rodeo 5s who cares? Hes 13 and is doing what he thinks is fun and likes to do if you dont like the way he does that then dont bother watching him kill it. I highly doubt anybody would turn down free gear aswell, I mean come on whoever said wait to mature or whatever before you pick up sponsers fuck that shit if they like your skiing go for it.
