Thats sick, I'll have to make it out.
I've been hearing the same thing about my shitty mountain for the past 3 years, and they actually took out and chopped up our battleship/flat down/wall ride.

For sure. I'm counting down the days until thanksgiving, we always open sometime around there.
How are the jumps at lab? I need to work on jumping some this year, just going bigger

Depends on the year, like I said they said they got some new features so the rail game will definitely be better, but last yeah we had a 20' step down, 2 25-30 foot step ups, 1 45 foot step down, a 35 foot step down, and some other smaller tables on and off thought the year. But come down, I'm wearing purple pants and a orange and purple Oakley coat, and am there pretty much 4 days a week

haha come on man I need to clear something up. First of all the measurements on labs jumps were complete and utter bs. The so called "45fter" was 30ft maaaaaaaax and all the other jumps were labled anywhere from 15-30ft were in the 10 to 20ft range. I thought it was funny and wondered all season how the hell they measured the jumps...clearly not from lip to knoll. Anywho love to hear about the new rails...they are definitly needed, but the real question will be the set-up of these rails...lab seems to be improving every year which is why i will continue my commitment to them as opposed to greek or togg...woohooo LAB!

I think I'm just going to ski around with a measuring tape in my pocket. People always call jumps at least 10 feet longer than they actually are when they do them at my local hill

lab has the potential to have the best park in cny but just needs the marketing and building skills...whoever drives the cat needs some serious lessons

You really think Lab can compete with Togg?

I'm sure they can compete with tog if they just fill some of the empty space they had. I always like Labs jumps more than togs ( except the head wall jumps) they just need to put up more. and these new rails hopefully add some new life into the park

I'm definitely NOT turning this into who is better because we're all friends and each hill has it's advtanages.
It's really more than just what you have set up. It's how well the crew keeps it maintained, how it flows, how often they switch it up. Sure you could have the sickest rail ever but if it's set up wrong, no one will hit it.

i agree with this statement...i just think that lab has the "potential" to be awesome and needs the right people in the right places to get the ball rolling.
