Drop In VS Bungee Cord

So today I was pondering over whether to build a drop in or try my luck at buying a bungee cord and try using that instead of a drop in. It would be specifically for summer and I was thinking of anchoring the bungee cord in the ground with a tent peg.etc

So my question is whether or not anyone has tried such a system or have an idea if it would work or not.

a bungee cord could work. i however do not recommend it. they are a pain to drag up the hill after you have hit it and if you want a maximum session your going to want to get hot laps. also you would need a long in run for a bungee to be successful. a drop in is the right answer. less work and same price.

i prefer the drop it method. more difficult to set up, but its way easier once you want to session.

plus a tent stake in the ground wont hold a bungee in place. gotta attach it to a tree or something strong like that

I noticed that bungee is only good for most flat ground stuff. Plus you're going to need a lot of room. Like they said, if you want to make laps get yourself a drop in.
