How do you tie your shoes NS?

I learned how to do it the "bunny ears" way. I never got around to learning to do it any other way. They stay tied just fine with the "bunny ears".

What about everyone else?

funny you ask. i had to write a short tutorial on this for my media writing class today and it had to be under 100 words. thats hard to do in under 100 words. i explained in the bunny ears way, but i actually do it ringing the lace around 1 loop.

now or as a kid? cuz now, i cinch them up so theyre tight, but i can still slip them on. then i tie the laces in a double knot and tuck them under the inner sole of the shoe.

but as a kid, i used the loop & swoop method

lace them to where they slip on and off then do a fancy x pattern through the 4 holes at the top, knot them, then cut them off. looks fresh.

Haha, I have tried tying them the way the song says word for word, and it never works. Has anyone else done this? Am I a failure?

I never tie my shoes.  I just leave the ends of the laces hanging out the top hole.  In the event that I do have to tie my shoes, I do a standard reef knot (essentially loop, swoop, and pull)

I tie my shoes both ways. Sometimes I feel the bunny ears and other times it's the single loop.

i make one loop, then bring the other lace around it and slip knot it through. then pull. there is also a way that a friend (who is a runner) showed me. it involves the top 3 laces and he uses it for running marathons so the laces do untie mid race. but i wear flipflops or just push the laces to the front of my shoe. i only tie em up when i do something intense. but mostly for sports i take them off.
