Where to mount hellbents

so im wondering where to mount them ill be just fooling around with them in the park and what not any help is welcome

either 2.5 or recommended. if you plan to do alot of switch in the pow then maybe centered mounted

searchbar, but really, they ride best at center, i have a pair and rode 2.5 back from center and center is wayyyyy more fun because the rocker meets at the center, so if you mount it back you will end up on your back alot.

center for jsut park.

i recommend 3cms back from the center of the flat spot for all mountain/pow purposes (provided you got the right size...)

they're rockered so they will feel much shorter...
i think theyre ok for you ....

you certainly wouldnt want to go any shorter than 179cms, because of the rocker it skis very short. 189 might be a bit much though, so 179 will probably be perfect! :)

I guess not if you bent it a lot, try and get a bigger one though.

You didn't buy hellbents just for park did you?

Definitely at center. I had some that were 4 back and I really think that I would've liked them a lot better if they were centered. And yes, even though they're not symmetrical you can center mount them.

i would go with the griffons , personally i think they are a really reliable binding, i have them on my park skis and jesters on my hell bents

I had mine at +5, remounted at center and it made them so much more fun for just messing around.

Get the Griffon if you're not huge, with a 132 brake. There is nothing worse than having your brake hang up on the ski (it happened to me once or twice, 120 brakes) because a fat, heavy, rockered powder ski isn't gonna stop on it's own in a hurry. Plus the wider mounting footprint is meant to be better on fat skis.

yeah i want the griffons but i have to get some afterbangs along with the hellbents so i am trying to find other cheap bindings
