i have to disagree with you there. when i was a hood, i talked to probably 10 pros, just a few sentences with each (except for my coach), but out of all of them, spriggs stood out to me as being one of the nicest. none of them were cocky or arrogant by any means, they all responded, and were nice, but spriggs seemed really stoked that I had talked to HIM and was showing appreciation for what he'd done (congratulated him on the dub flat pipe transfer you saw in the summer of spriggs article), and he was the only one who stuck out his hand for me to shake.

Yeah he comes across quite badly... He started a thread a while back when Jon Olsson was learning dub 12s etc, saying that using water ramps was cheating and that Jon should just learn them on snow first (even Vanular asked why he started such a dumb thread).... Also, a couple of months back a scandinavian kid landed a backseat dub cork 14. Spriggs comment was simply "not dubbed". Instead of giving props to an Am for stepping it up he just takes away from it completely /rant.

the thread I am thinking of was one where he posted an edit of himself. Someone made a comment about how it wasn't that great or critiqued him in some way and he responded by calling them names, and telling them they sucked at skiing. His ugly outfits, quite tall frame, and dreads don't especially move merchandise either. But to be clear, he is a very talented guy, and I bet nice most of the time. Just a bit immature.

He has always come across as a nice guy from what I have seen. Definitely one of my favorites out there.

There is something about spriggs that doesn't appeal to me, hes is definitly very tall which limits his outerwear choices and for being such a big guy he needs a company that makes skis for HIM I couldn't believe it when I realized that fischer was making him ride these little tiny skis that were up to his chin
I think if spriggs gets some appropiate skis (fischer obviously is awful)he might step his game up,and jesus christ he needs to get some custom made outerwear or some shit because he just doesn't stand out as a PRO he looks almost silly.I think a pro should be rocking their outwear setting the standard for style
no hate

THIS.
it might be his style too, but wearing hugeass basketball shorts off hill, and pants with little to no baggyness and sweatshirts that fit like american eagle looks kinda goofy, like what you'd expect from the average weekend groomer cruiser. no matter how much style he has, or how good he is, his style is limited by outerwear choices.
again, i still think he's nice guy, but i am hoping he won't show up and prove me wrong.

style was the wrong word...
what i am trying to say is that i think its hard to look good for him because he is so damn tall, and i think that the style he is trying to fit into by wearing huge basketball shorts, setting edits to rap, and hitting stuff open coat doesnt really work if he doesnt have any clothes that can be big enough to look thug, like he is trying to ski.

He should just ski bum it for a year and not get a ski sponsor. He'll have them lined up and offering if he just keeps on keepin on.

i dont see surface infact surface skis are more of a trend then anything else right now. No hate intended but half the people that talk about them have never ridden them. I can defiantly see him on 4frnt or moment though

Spriggs seems like a really cool dude, and got many friends among the pros, i don't think that not even one of all the ski brands would not give sponsor to a guy like him, so unless he raped a child or something it's pretty weird, i rembered seeing him on Fischer skis last year, on his website it says "LOOKING FOR SKI AND CLOTHING SPONSOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I think Spriggs would do well if he was on First Drop, the clothes would fit, and i think he would fit in there. As for a ski sponsor...no clue really, maybe liberty, volkl, who knows

I'd rather not see him on surface. While they may fit who he is, his attitude wouldn't be a positive addition to their team.

ninthward's the only sponsor that would want his image and would be able to deal with it

Spriggs is sick. I think its cool that he gets on NS and tells people what he thinks. If you hate him because of that then you take NS too seriously. He also seems to like hyping up other skiers. He made all those dope edits this summer with kids like charlie owens.

Liberty needs a largerish name park rider these days. or mayby fortitude should pick up a legit guy but i don't think fortitude has the ski sizes he needs

fortitude has whatever ski sizes people want. They handmake there skis. It would take no extra effort to make him a bigger ski
