it was downloaded the first day it was out so i tried to download it but the max downloads was up for that day. the next day i tried to and it was unavailable for download. someone has a downloaded copy direct from vimeo

There are tons of other ways to get videos off of vimeo, just google "downloading videos from vimeo" and it will give you tons of different websites/tools to use. Can't remember the one I used to do it or I'd link you that one.

I got the HD version in the same quality it is on vimeo. There isn't any reason it would be worse quality since the service I used just redirected the vimeo stream into something I could download instead of watch. It didn't change the video at all.
Looks damn fine on DVD too.
