Where to ski after you have been to Utah 3 times?

This winter will mark my third trip to skiing the wasatch mountains.

I need a new place to go. I like lots of steep and deep powder runs duhhh, and smoking weed.

Im thinking, jackson hole, whistler, bozeman, or ?

Whistler is a winner...if it didn't cost so fucking much.

now im just going off what i heard. but for difficulty....

whistler, jackson, and some utah areas are pretty high up there. although i HAVENT BEEN TO OTHER PLACES, so i cant fucking say much can i. but magazines, people, whatever. i know its all about where you go, but lift serviced is what its about. bozeman also looks pretty nice.

i hear that some colorado resorts are just meh for difficulty and have less consistent snowfall (a problem jackson has also i guess).

plus i like to mix it up, i mean i can spend 3 days at Alta, 3 days at Snowbird, but i like going more places unless unless there is more to be explored.

If I recall Aspen to crusty butte is like an 8 hour drive. Essentially all the ski resorts are dotted across the state west of denver, and then there are some that are on i-70 itself.

i know dillon would be a cheap place to stay and give me access to 4 resorts, but do they even compare?

Come if you wanna ski park. Vail, BC, and Breck all have some decent stuff, but yeah, they dont really compare. If you wanna come to CO go to the butte, telluride and silverton, based on what you ride.

La Nina weather pattern this year which favors below avg temps + above average precipitation in the PNW. Not trying to be a homer or anything cause I do love Utah (been going there past 3 years) but I'm staying up here this year. Mt Hood, Bachelor, Mt Baker, Whistler are all good. If you are working on a budget, Red Mountain in Rossland, B.C. is sick and it takes for ever to get tracked, thats only about a hour and a half north of Spokane, WA. Anything from Oregon North and Idaho West should be pretty epic this year though.

Baker and Jackson are the two sickest resorts in the country by far. I would put my money on Baker since it's also in the Whistler territory and this is an El Nina season, which = EPICness

utah is always the most consistent snow. jackson is great terrain but snow can be a bit unpredictable. it's beautiful there though. SW colorado like wolk creek, telluride and silverton would be a better choice than CO I-70 resorts. Better snow, terrain and less people.

I've never been to whistler but from what I hear the snow amount and quality is incredibly variable. I think interior BC may be a better option. What about Alaska? That would be badass. When I take ski trips I try to maximize the chance of multiple epic powder days.

Who has the best lift accessed gnar? Come on guys, if you from an area with something that throws down...THEN THROW IT UP?

Im from Michigan, see now for instance if you like fresh water boating with a huge boat, this is the place to be. We also have fantastic ghettos that are sure to impress.

Do a split trip between Whistler and Baker then to keep costs down. You can stay at lodges about 25 minutes from Baker for like 40 bucks a night and tickets are cheap there too. Plus weekdays its a ghost town and it has some of the coolest terrain around, stuff you can get really creative with.

Picture Brighton but bigger, steeper and deeper and you get Baker. And it is near the Canadian border - 3 hours maybe less depending on what border crossing you take to Whistler/Blackcomb.

Aspen/Snowmass Resorts. four mountains that combined give you all you could ever want via lift access, good snowfall. Also there is an incredible amount of dispensaries throughout the valley.
