they like burrow into the ground as larva...then next month is when theyre supposed to hatch, here(also the cincinnati area)...theyre loud as hell....i dont know how many of you mow lawns for you money but those things hate and loud noise...while ur mowing ur grass they will attack you and shit....its nuts

ya the ladybug tyhing happens every once in a while around here, and the cicada thing is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo annoying, i think by the end of the summer im gonna have to shot myself from the buzzing

I looked on there and it said my state is supposed to get a 'brood' this year. But it also says that Pa got one in 2002 1999 and some other recent years, so I dont know if its gonna happen or not. Hopefully not. Theyre such pests
