Armada long fit jacket.

I saw in a shop today that there were some armada jacket who were long fit. unfortunately i couldnt try them on.

anyone know how tall they fit ( sizing chart ) ? If not, I'm gonna have to go back to this shop with my tape and try them on.

are you talking about the drawstring? because i'm having the same problem with mine when i pull it it like brings the jacket up and kind of folds it. idk kind of hard to explain.

Exactly ! the draaaaaaawsting. The way they made it isnt really smart.. The drawstring ends at like 2 inch for the zipper on both side. So when you pull it the jacket is getting way too wavy

I'm 5'9'', the hood I'm wearing under it is a 4XL fasc hood which you can see a bit at the bottom, for reference.

Yo guys,

I'm totally new here, this is my first post, so: Hey all!


Anyways, I just sold my Animal Jacket which I bought last year which was an XL.

I'm 6' 6".  Here's a bad pic of me wearing it:

I'm the guy on the right.
As you see (hard to see) it's not my size and I should've bought an XXL.
And I look abit like a dork imo.. haha


Now I want to buy the new Armada Static (long fit). And I'm wondering which size I should get..

XL or XXL?

the animal jacket was perfect at my shoulders but a tiny bit too short at the arms, hands.. Since those lycra handgrapstuff to prevent snow from comming was almost ripping when I stretched my arms in the air.


It's my first full season and I want to look good

It's hard to "guess" a size if you buy it on the internet.

I live in Belgium and I called all the dealers here and none of them are selling armada jackets..
So yeah, I can't drive there and try them on.. ;<

I don't realy think so.  I guess you could go XL, but at 6'6" it might seem a little short.  I'm 6'1" and the XL Static jacket came like 2 inches above my knees if I remember correctly, so it would be about 7 inches above your knees.

Ordered my static jacket in M, i'm 5,9. Tried S in shop, bit tight in the back but M is gonna be perfect! Very good sizing by armada this year, tall without the tent effect. Way to go!

There is like only an inch of difference between XL and XXL. But get XL if you're not sure.

Not to mention you're claiming to be 6'6. My XL hoodie (supposed to be same size as the jacket) goes to a couple inches above my knees and I'm 6'. A XXL jacket on you would probably be exactly what you're looking for. And like the other guy said, the only difference between the XL and XXL is one inch of zipper length.

Well.. there is a shop here in belgium (other side of the country) which have the static jacket in S, M, and L...

So yeah I called them and the guy from the shop is 5'7" and he's wearing S. He said that the jackets were HUGE.

So I'm going there on saturday and gonna check out the L.. if it's like way too small.. i'm gonna buy the XXL. if it's a little too smal it will be the XL.

I'll let you know :)

Yeah it's true that L could fit like a small fit or correct fit to you on the lenght. But the arms would be way to small and annoying.

I tried on a static in M and L, and found that the M was too short in the sleeves for me (my sleeve length measured from the center of my back to my wrist is 33.5"-34"). The L was fine in terms of sleeve length.

Personally I'm not a big fan of huge clothing, so I was just looking for the bit of extra length. Here's a pic of a L Fievel hoodie on me (I'm 6'2", ~150lbs).

Here are some of the dimensions:
Zipper 30.5" long
Chest 24" wide
Sleeve 36.5" long (from end of cuff to zipper along direction of the center of the sleeve).

In the top picture, my the bottom of my kneecaps are near to the top of the wrinkles in the jeans.

Hopefully this will help anyone 6'+ with the sizing of hoodies/jackets. Keep in mind that the jackets might be an inch or so bigger than the hoodies in some dimensions.

I've got a L Range jacket on it's way, so if anyone wants to know the sizing of it let me know (I won't post anything otherwise).

yeah it seems that i'll be needing an XL or XXL if L sleeves are good for you..

The static jacket looks so nice, it's really worth the effort of finding the right size before ordering it since it's expensive aswell..

I'll see what the fitting at the shop will bring

I'm not going to make it to the shop..

I Want to order my jacket online like right NOW.

I'm leaving for france the 25th and I really want it before I leave..

Here are my sizes:

Chest:  43.3 inch

Waist: 37 inch

Arms (middle back to wrist):  34 inch

Total lenght: 6'5.6"

Shoulders to start of the pants: 27 inch


XL or XXL? Final decision!

I've sent an email to armada benelux and they told me that with my measurements i should get an XL..

However, I read that alot of people who are 5'6" that a L fits them perfectly or that the arms are too tight/short..

So yeah, hope you guys can help me out here.

well like we already said, the XXL is only an inch longer than the XL , but it fits bigger ( arm and chest ), I'd go with XXL but it's your decision, you take what you like !

The Range jacket is long fit. There is not shorter version.

Above is a size L on someone 6'2". Also check my profile pic. Armada's dimensions are from the shoulder if I recall correctly.

here is a large range in lavender, model is 5'4" and the beginning of the knee is marked at the white line.  This thing is huge. Might try to trade it for a M.

Hi I would like to buy the jacket Static Armada Insulated Jacket (same as robo_polo) and I want to know the size of this jacket Because a website told me that The Large are 33 inches and the XLarge's are 34 inches from the shoulder hem to the bottom of the jacket.
Robo_polo if you tell me your height and size of your jacket that I have an overview.

il disait avant qu'il fait 5'9'', la veste est une taille L, et personne sait exactement quelle longueur elle fait parce que tout le monde semble avoir un avis différent. de ce que j'ai compris, elle doit faire 37'', soit environ 93cm. j'espere que ca aide. d'ailleurs il la vende plus cette veste
