I've always wanted one of those, but you can get CB radios off the internet or in radioshack.

i honestly dont know how much the one in my truck was, it was a christmas present.

but it is so fucking awesome. you have no idea. its sick to talk to truckers, news about traffic and cops travels down the road/highway from truck to truck super fast. i used mine to wake up this trucker in front of me who was drifiting off the road. he told me thanks. it was sick.

also, i was in one of those emergency breakdown lanes on the side of a construction zone. i had just changed a blowout on my trailer. traffic was fucking hauling by and i knew i would get clipped if i pulled out because i was in my truck and i was towing a 6000lb trailer, so i got a trucker to slow waayy down and block traffic in the right lane so i could pull out without some dumb fuck rearending my fat, slow ass. it was dope.

i've got a cheap ass radio shack cb with a cheap ass antenna, i used to use it sometimes when travelling for work. mostly i used it for updates on the 5-0, would give some good heads up for when to slow down. at one point i thought about upgrading it and getting a decent one but i never went anywhere with it. the problem i had with the cheap one is the range was pretty limited and i don't think my unit would broadcast real well

i'll sell you mine whip and all for 30 bucks, be warned it wont be long before it just sits in your truck though

steve zahn and paul walker picked up a cb radio.  then they were chased by a trucker out to kill them.  be careful man.

also i'll add the other time it's useful is coming up on traffic jams, can give you a good idea whether to get off the road or wait it out
