So... I got caught.

I got caught smoking herb by my parents...

The other day I screwed up, forgot to cover the smell. Since then my parents:
1. Took my pipe, weed, etc. (completely understandable. I would expect parents to do that.
2. Grounded me from all electronics. Computer, phone, tv, etc. and won't let me leave the house (usual stuff to get grounded from)
3. This is where it starts the bullshit. They grounded me from my bikes and are now threatening to take my SKI SEASON from me if I don't stay "clean".

I know you guys are probably going to be like, "stupid 15 year old" and "you're soooo cool you smoke weed", but don't you think this is taking it a little be too seriously?

Sparknotes: Got caught smoking. Parents take electronics, bikes and possibly ski season..

2. sit down with them, have them watch the union, talk to them about it
3. make a deal, like keep your grades up and you get to keep smoking and get ungrounded

2. tried that. didnt work
3. there's no way they will let me keep smoking. they already told me that they are going to keep randomly drug testing me

and to onnomnom, it will be more than a month, but no they didnt hit me yet.

i thought this thread was going to be "so... i got caught"...."with my ski clothes on" - a far superior thread.

but if you parents threatened to take away skiing if you don't "stay clean," then why don't you just "STAY CLEAN!" seriously, i gave it up so i would have money to go skiing. get your priorities straight kid.

You got off pretty easy I would say. My dad would kick me to the street if he caught me smoking herb. The ski season is pretty far away, if you listen to them then the whole thing will probably blow over by the time the snow flies.

C'mon man, get your shit done in school, keep out of trouble and don't let them catch you again. Ski season is a long way off, they will cool off if you prove to them that you learned your lesson

Stay clean until ski season man, i had to do the exact same thing then when you decide to spark up again your tolerance is low and you get super baked. Worth it man skiing or drugs?

just stay clean. skiing is and should be priority numero uno for most people on this site. it's too damn bad that your parents are so biased against weed...

like mrtskier said, show them The Union. I think every parent should watch it to get real perspective on this complicated and controversial issue

they are obviously worried you are gonna turn into the kind of pothead that loses focus on school and the things they think are most important. ive been there, and when your under 18, if you dont know how protect yourself from getting caught, then you shouldnt be smoking in the first place..harsh, and of course you wont wanna stop but its the truth.

is it really worth losing your ski season to get high? if your like me, skiing is one of the most important things in life, its not worth losing it.

wait til your 18, move out, and smoke all the tree you want.

honestly it sucks but the clear solution is to just stop smoking. your parents are right and we don't even have to debate whether weed should be legal or not, even if it became legal it wouldn't be legal for a 15 year old to do. turn 18 then if they start taking away ski seasons you can be pissed.

Jesus Christ.

For starters, if you're parents are nazis, by a fucking stash safe, coke can, water bottle, lock box, something.

Smoke out of a one hitter or a bowl. If you smoke out of a bowl. Only light what you intend to inhale. Cap it with your lighter or hand immediately. Don't rip it too hard as this will ignite and cherry the whole bowl, especially when you're smoking mexican brick. Also don't inhale to much and cough out smoke like a tool.

Build a spoof. Best bet are the rolls inside of the plastic wrap boxes, they are fucking sturdy. If not take a paper towel roll, yes size matter here. Will it with dryer sheets, cap the end with a layer of 5-10. Rubber band or tape them over the end. Stuff a few tissues in as well, as they will absorb the resin better at the start. Make it tight enough that the air moves through only with lung force, loose enough that you can actually blow into it.

Follow steps about small hits that you can handle and capping thew bowl. Try to completely ghost every hit so there is no smoke coming out of your lungs, then blow into the spoof(paper towel roll device)

If you do this right your room won't ever smell, and your chances of being busted go down a shit ton.


NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER smoke a fucking bong and especially never never never never smoke a fucking joint or a blunt in your room if your parents are nazis.

If you have friends over, handle the above instructions. Also put a fan out your window and smoke in a chair right next to the fan while still following the above instructions.

You will never have a problem unless you act jesus high or leave something out.

Remember

1. Stash safes
2. Well built spoof(I stress well built) Change those dryer sheets and tissues regularly. Maybe by your own box of sheets so they don't all keep disappearing form your house.
3. Bowls and one hitters
4. Capping the bowl, not lighting more than you can inhale
5. ghosting before you blow into spoof
6. Open window with fan pointed out on high and smoking next to it



You would be fine.


Somebody please fucking listen to these easy steps. Next time somebody gets busted by parents for being an idiot I will travel in my time machine and abort you.
