Voice and Song burnt on a CD

I wanted to burn a CD for a friend and then at the end of it just have some spoken stuff on it could it work or would i have to record my voice and then make it into a mp3?

Are you thinking that you could just talk at the CD while it is burning at that would work? No.

pretty sure youd have to just make it an mp3 and put it on... or if it needs to be on the same track as another song, you could put the song into garageband or whathaveyou then export it as one and put that track on the cd

Yeah like what i was really thinking that i could just record my voice burn it, then burn music on it but I think making my recording into a mp3 is the smartest

Oh I think I see what you originally thought, that wouldn't work because you cant burn a CD twice. Just make your voice into a separate mp3 and burn it with the music all at once.

download audacity if you dont have something else. you can import songs, record voice, put your voice over the track if thats what you wanted. it will do what youre going for
