Its more complicated than that... there are countless 'street art' web sites detailing techniques and such. Or write letter to ski companies and they should send you some.

just print out the sign use an exacto knife and cut it out, i made a red bull siver cartel, von zipper and line they work awsome im making shirts

If you want like elaborate lettering with like shadows and highlights and stuff, go into photoshop, and design it one layer at a time, single colors on each line, and then print each layer separately, then you just spraypaint each layer, bottom up and get awesome stencils.
I've never tried this... but it would work.

mylar is the stuff to use for stencils is you want to use them over and over again.

IF you use the clear laminate sheets...like from overhead projectors...like they used to use in school...basicly clear plastic sheets, they work the best..the plastic doesnt fold up when you use it more than once.

i just made a big line one, just enlarged the LINE letters, printed, taped it to cardboard, but out the letters, tada, looks awesome
