its not a big deal, i just thought it was kind of strange that when i set up for a pretzel it looks like im setting up my back foot for the pretz rather than digging in my leading foot..what yall think?

i do this so called under grip when i pretzel off low rails/boxes. it helps me spin faster for some reason don't know why though.

Some love the way it looks, some don't. I remember a while ago people actually made an entire thread about Steve Stepp doing it on a box, not really sure why. What it comes down to is this; If you're pretzelling with your back foot, your too far on your tails on the rail. If you're fine with being slightly off center, then sure, it's fine. I much prefer pretzelling with my front foot, because it lets me know I was centered and under control, but then again, back foot pretzel is just as, if not more effective for getting spin.
